Scholarship Opportunities!

Community National Bank/ USD #446 Educational Foundation Scholarship
The USD 446 Education Foundation Fund and the Trust Department of the Community National Bank & Trust are offering (2) $500.00 scholarship to two Independence High School graduates who will be a junior or senior at a Kansas Board of Regents institution.
Requirements:
  • Complete Scholarship Application
  • Copy of transcript

Ottawa Education Association Scholarship
The Ottawa Education Association is excited to announce their annual scholarship for education majors. The student must be a graduate of Ottawa High School, Ottawa, Kansas or a resident of Franklin County, Kansas to apply.
Criteria:
  1. A college senior or a returning student making a career change
  2. Working toward their FIRST teaching certificate, not toward re-certification or moving from one area of education to another
Requirements:
  • A letter from the School of Education at the college or university of attendance that verifies their acceptance as a full-time student in that school
  • A completed application
  • A copy of current transcript
