Conversation Partners Still Needed

The Intensive English Program still needs several partners to meet with international students for casual conversation.
This is your opportunity to get to know an international student at ESU. Conversation partners meet for one hour each week at a time and public place that is convenient for both partners. You and your partner would choose the time of your meeting, so it is easy to work around your schedule.
Being a conversation partner gives members of the ESU community the chance to talk with someone from a different country/culture while also giving that student a chance to practice using conversational English.
Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to be a conversation partner. English does not have to be your first language. You just have to be fluent in English to participate.
For more information or to become a conversation partner, please send a message to iep@emporia.edu or stop by Roosevelt Hall room 113.
