Kristine M. Woods Presents Ph.D. Dissertation Proposal


​Kristine M. Woods, candidate for the degree Doctor of Philosophy, Library and Information Management in the School of Library and Information Management (SLIM), Emporia State University will defend her dissertation proposal in a public presentation on Thursday, November 29, 2018, 10:00 AM CT in Room 319F, SLIM. SLIM is located in the south end of the William Allen White Library building on the Emporia, KS campus.
The title of the proposed research is Cooperative Catalogers' Lived Experience Implementing Resource Description and Access (RDA).
Ms. Woods is a reference librarian at the Bellevue Public Library, Bellevue, Nebraska.
Dissertation committee members are Dr. Sarah Sutton, Chair, Associate Professor, ESU, School of Library and Information Management; Dr. Mirah Dow, Member, Professor, ESU, School of Library and Information Management; Dr. Sandy Valenti, Member, ESU, Assistant Professor, ESU, School of Library and Information Management; and Dr. Shawne D. Miksa, Member, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science, College of Information, University of North Texas, Denton, TX.
