Community Hornets is partnering with United Way of the Flint Hills to provide books for local Emporia preschoolers. The books have already been purchased, we are asking students and faculty to sponsor a book. For just $2 students can sponsor a book by writing a positive message to a preschooler. Messages can include encouraging words to encourage reading or words of empowerment and support. The buyer of the book should sign their name! At the end of the sale, the books will be delivered to local preschool programs so the kids can take the books home.
Students and faculty will have the opportunity to donate on Wednesday, November 7th from 10am-2pm in the Memorial Union West Lobby or the Visser Atrium. Cash and Venmo will be accepted.
