ESU Theatre is proud to continue the tradition of a live broadcast of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", adapted by former ESU theatre professor Dan Matisa, in a radio show style format at 7:30 p.m. on December 8. The show will be live streamed through the Emporia State University website. Patrons are also invited to come listen to the show live in the Karl C. Bruder Theatre and participate in a Christmas carol sing-along before the performance to help get in the Christmas Spirit.
For those attending the performance live at the Bruder Theatre, there is a suggested donation of $5 or one non-perishable food item. Monetary donations will go to theatre scholarships while the food items will go to Corky's Cupboard.
