The Centers for Disease Control recommends wearing:
- A hat;
- Scarf or knit mask to cover the face and mouth;
- Sleeves snug at the wrist;
- Mittens (because they are warmer than gloves);
- Water-resistant coat and boots
- Several layers of loose clothing
