Teams of students will submit proposals and finalists will be invited to present their proposals in front of a panel of judges. Judges include a member of the faculty, staff and student body, community member and alumnus. The 2019 CIC winning team will be awarded a $500 grant to carry out its proposed solution. The solution must be carried out by May 2019. The CIC represents an opportunity for students to learn more about the local community, network with other students as well as communty members, and enhance their skills (e.g., critical and creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, public speaking, and adaptive leadership).
