Guest Art Speaker Jessica Brandl-Friday, February 15th


​Jessica Brandl, internationally acclaimed ceramic artist, was born in the Midwest, and was recently a guest professor at the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Her current vessel works explore "landscapes with looming architecture, turbulent skies, and misplaced objects…historical and eccentric places engulfed in psychological scenarios - both sinister and sublime, serving as pointed souvenirs of history and the path to American-ness."

You won't want to miss this charismatic and thoughtful artist. Friday, Feb. 15 Artist Lecture 12 p.m. in King Hall Room 008 and Demonstration 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. King Hall 013.
