The ESU Ambassadors' Senior Week Committee invite you to consider nominating a graduating senior for the Dwight and Ida Curry Newberg Outstanding Senior Award. This award is one of the most prestigious honors Emporia State can bestow upon a senior. The student selected as the 2019 Outstanding Senior will receive a plaque and a $500 cash prize. The Distinguished Senior (runner-up) will receive a plaque and a $200 cash prize. Each member of the ESU faculty or staff may nominate one senior.
To nominate one ESU senior who is outstanding in the areas of academics, honors/awards, campus involvement, and community service, please fill out the Senior Nomination Form online or contact Tiffany Wilson at twilson@emporia.edu to request a printable form. Please limit nominations to a senior who is expected to graduate in the spring, summer, or fall of 2019 with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Nominations are due by February 28, 2019.
