Memorial Union Ballroom
6:00pm-8:00pm
This program is ideal for any and all students but especially those who are feeling worn out, stressed out, frazzled, struggling to make progress on their goals, or wondering how to better care for themselves. Students who participate in rEcharge will:
· Learn about resources to make progress on personal goals
· Experience in relaxation or anxiety reducing practices
· Practice self-care through the lens of the seven dimensions of wellness for a more holistic wellbeing
Our goal is to help students achieve greatness by developing skills and awareness of how to increase resiliency and achieve greater levels of personal success. This is the time for students to come out to RELAX, take a deep breath and RECONNECT with tools for success. Participants will receive a Center for Student Involvement t-shirt and snacks at the event!!!
To kick off the event there will be a guided meditation and an activity to help de-stress. Then to follow up there will be fun stations where students can interact and focus on the different areas of their wellbeing and self-care. The seven dimensions are as follows: emotional, occupational, social, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and lastly financial. Some of those stations will include: yoga, sensory activities, dinner etiquette, meditation, and many more to come! Tell your students to reserve their spot today on Hornetlife today under the forms tab.
