ESU Celebrates a World of Poetry!
Throughout the month of April ESU will be celebrating and exploring diversity and culture through poetry! There are multiple ways to get involved:
WORLD OF POETRY FAIR & OPEN MIC NIGHT
Join us in WAW libary to explore different cultures through their poetic traditions, learn ways to get involved in the writerly community in Emporia, and share your own poems!

POETRY CONTEST
Visit rebrand.ly/worldofpoetry to submit your original poems to the World of Poetry contest! The contest is open to all students, judged by Creative Writing Program faculty (including Kansas Poet Laureate Kevin Rabas), and the winner will have a special feature in Quivira. All submissions will be considered for publication in Quivira.
---Deadline for entry is April 29---
Stop by our table on MU Mainstreet, this coming Monday from 11:30 -1:00, to learn more about the World of Poetry events, get inspired, and help us celebrate!
Events are all free and open to the public. Contest is open to current ESU students only.
