To submit a Hornet Announcement, follow these steps:
1. Go to hornet.emporia.edu
2. Click HORNET DIGITAL HUB on left side
3. Click HORNET ANNOUNCEMENTS
4. Click SUBMIT at bottom of the page
5. Complete the form:
1. Title - this is a headline, which will be published at the top of the email digest
2. Body - all the information readers need
3. Date to post - this tell us what day you want the post to run
4. Posted by - your department, organization, or individual name
5. Requested by – your name so we know who to contact if we have questions. This DOES NOT appear on your post.
6. Click SAVE
Your submission will be reviewed for publication. Individual posts will only be published once per calendar week (Monday through Friday). Hornet Announcements are not posted on weekends or days that campus is closed.
Items must be submitted by 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for inclusion in the email digest of Hornet Announcements that is sent at 4 p.m. each day.
