The music department at Emporia State invites students, faculty and staff to sing in one of our excellent choirs. We offer three different choral ensembles at ESU: MU220 Emporia Chorale Monday 7-9pm, MU310 A Cappella Choir MWF 1:00-1:50, and MU391 Chamber Choir TTh 2:00-3:20. MU220 Emporia Chorale does not require a hearing. In order to be considered for the A Cappella Choir or Chamber Choir you must schedule a hearing with Dr. Ward. The hearing will consist of singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," Sight Singing, and Tonal Memory. Please sign up for a hearing time and show up a bit early to fill out some information. This is not some scary audition, just an opportunity to get involved.
