Would you Like to be a Hornet Athletic Team "Faculty Champion"

A program was initiated several years ago that places ESU faculty and staff in the role of serving as informal support persons for the various Hornet Athletic teams.  Individuals volunteer time to provide support and encouragement for teams by doing such things as occasionally attending a practice, sitting on the bench or standing on the sideline/pitch for a contest, encouraging student-athletes in their academic pursuits, etc.  The types of involvement and time commitment are determined by each respective Faculty Champion.  Each team has as few as one and as many as four Faculty Champions.  There is no specific required or limit on numbers.

Hornet teams are as follows:

Men's Cross Country

Women's Cross Country

Football

Volleyball

Soccer

Men's Tennis

Women's Tennis

Men's Track & Field

Men's Track & Field

Women's Basketball
