The ESU Iota Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi will have our second meeting of the year on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM in VH330.
Kalliope Craft, an education major at Emporia State, will be speaking about a project she has been working on titled Conversations with the Global Community.
"Conversations with the Global Community" is a workshop to help area elementary and middle school students meet real people from around the world. The goal is for youth to see other cultures as real places full of real people, not just a space that exists on the news, in books, and in pictures. Through this workshop, students will bond over what connects us and celebrate what makes us unique.
Join us for the only opportunity to participate as a college student and you will have the opportunity to evaluate the workshop before we start touring schools.
Anyone who is interested in this experience is welcome to attend. You may also bring along a friend.
