NASA Night

After NASA made it to the moon, the Space Race shifted gears. It was practically won, but it wasn't over yet. Now, the Soviet Union wanted to put a reusable lab in space for cosmonauts to conduct research. It wasn't long later that NASA followed suit. These were the first orbiting space stations.

Peterson Planetarium (SH 31) will be offering a free and open to the public NASA Night presentation this Thursday at 6:30 pm, following a tour of the night sky using our personal star ball system. Our full schedule can be found on our Facebook or at emporia.edu/planetarium.
