Seeing!

This Saturday at 11:30 am, Peterson Planetarium (SH 31) will be offering a free full-dome feature: Seeing!

Our vision is just a way for us to sense the world around us by using electromagnetic radiation. 'Seeing!' will describe how that works, starting with photons in the center of our star and ending in the biologic structure of our eyes and brain. This show focuses on physics and biology, but it's easy to understand for any education level, middle school and up!

This show will be following a special tour of the night sky, a glimpse at the stars using our star ball system. Our full schedule is on Facebook and at https://www.emporia.edu/department-liberal-arts-sciences/attractions-centers/peterson-planetarium/.
