Changes to the on-campus application process are coming December 15th, 2019!
Our student feedback was clear, and we have made changes that will simplify the application for students and staff.
Beginning December 15th, on-campus job applications in Handshake will no longer require students to submit the ESU Student Employment Cover Letter and a class schedule.
The Student Employment Application is replacing the cover letter and the class schedule. Students will be able to find the Student Employment Application in the Resource Library in Handshake. Once the form is downloaded, saved, completed, and saved again, students will upload the Student Employment Application as an “other” document to their Handshake profiles.
For students:
- If you have an application that is currently pending, you do not need to submit the new Student Employment Application form.
- If you plan to apply for an on-campus job, follow the instructions in the job announcement. All job announcements will be updated on or by December 15 to reflect the change in required documents.
For staff:
- You should have received an e-mail from Career Services explaining the change and providing you with instructions on next steps.
- If you have questions, please contact Career Services at 620-341-5407.
