Planned water outage in Science and Cremer hall for sewer line project

Facilities is replacing a damaged sewer line on the east side of the pedestrian mall that services both the Science and Cremer Halls.  This will require the water to be turned off in both buildings.  Cremer Hall will have water service turned off on Monday, December 16th from 12pm – 6pm.  Science Hall will have water service turned off on Tuesday, December 17th at 5am and restored no earlier than Wednesday, December 18th at 6pm.

When the water service will be turned off to the buildings, there will be no restroom access during the timeframes listed above.  Please use the restrooms in an adjacent building.  Please also plan to bring in drinking water as sinks and water fountains will not operate.

Portions of the parking area between 15th street and the Hutchinson Pavilion will also be closed from Wednesday, December 11th through Thursday December 19th.  Please keep out of the cones spaces and be aware of construction equipment, vehicles and workers in the parking lots and throughout the pedestrian mall.  On Wednesday, December 18th, entry to campus on 15th Avenue will be closed for a majority of the day while the pipe is installed.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience.
