Each year, the Ethnic and Gender Studies program accepts applications for the Susan B. Anthony Scholarship. The scholarship is $1,000 and is awarded to the student who best meets these requirements: 1) demonstrates the greatest or most beneficial contribution to the growth and education of women on ESU's campus; 2) demonstrates excellence in scholarship (grade point average and academic honors); 3) shows financial need. We encourage any current ESU student of any gender to apply.
Applications can be picked up in the Ethnic and Gender Studies office, 10 Butcher; or electronic versions can be emailed by contacting ethgen@emporia.edu.
