The VITA, volunteer income tax assistance, program is a free service that you as the tax payer can take advantage of to file your taxes for free. All volunteers at our site are certified with the IRS and trained on how to best help you. This program is for everyone, not just students, so be sure to spread the word to all your friends and neighbors as well. We also help international students fill out information returns to remain in compliance with their visas. If you did not file a return in a previous year, we can also help you with that, though 2019 returns are our priority.
We are open on the first floor of Cremer Hall, CH104:
Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm
Mondays from 2 pm until 5 pm
For people from the community we ask that you make an appointment through KansasWorks, our hours there are Wednesdays from 1 pm until 5 pm.
The site will be open during the month of February.
