Effective March 9, Bill McKernan is ESU’s new Director of Facilities. During his role as Interim Director of Facilities since Mark Runge’s untimely passing last September, Bill has displayed outstanding leadership, continuing to support the mission and move forward the initiatives and work of the Facilities team with a steady hand. Since he joined the Facilities team in 2017, Bill has demonstrated sound judgement and vision as it relates not only to managing the sustainability and safety of the University’s buildings and grounds, but also in caring for and managing the safety and welfare of Facilities teammates and campus personnel. I am excited to have Bill at the helm of the Facilities operations.
