Congratulations to our WHM Award Winners!

Every March, the Ethnic and Gender Studies program presents three awards that recognize those who contribute significantly to the lives of women/femme folx at ESU and in Emporia. We are delighted to announce this year's award winners:

  • Dr. Damara Paris, Counselor Education, for the Ruth Schillinger Award
  • Dr. Sheryl Lidzy, Communication and Theatre, for the Mary Headrick Award
  • Lyrah Wallace, graduate student in Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling, for the Susan B. Anthony Scholarship
