The ESU Art Forum Lecture Series is proud to present Sarah Gross as the speaker for tomorrow - Wed., Jan. 30. Sarah is currently an Assistant Professor of Ceramics at the University of Kansas. She exhibits her installations and sculptural work nationally and internationally and has had recent residencies at Creta, Rome; Tetouan, Morocco, with GreenOlive Arts; Greenwich House Pottery; Grand Valley State University; and the Lawrence Arts Center. Sarah was named a 2010 Emerging Artist by Ceramics Monthly, and she has work included in numerous collections including the U.S. Department of State, The University of Costa Rica, and the Shiwan Ceramics Museum in Foshan, China. She got her MFA from RISD, and her BA from Carleton College in Minnesota.
After the lecture, she will be critiquing with students in the Department of Art, sponsored by the ESU Clay Guild. Please contact slanter@emporia.edu if you wish to participate.
