The Ethnic and Gender Studies Program is now accepting nominations for the Dr. Mary Headrick award. Dr. Headrick was known for her tireless efforts to ESU and in the Emporia community to help women reach their full potential. This award is designed for those who go the extra mile, making a long-term commitment to promoting the growth of women and girls in our schools and community, in such capacities as mentoring, service, or acting as a role model. Recipients of the award may be members of the ESU community, such as faculty or staff, or members of the larger Emporia community.
Nomination forms are available in the Ethnic and Gender Studies office, located within the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, 433 South Morse Hall, or by contacting Dr. Heidi Hamilton, hhamilto@emporia.edu, 341-5703.
Nominations are due by 5PM on Tuesday, March 5th.
