Feedback Needed on Possible New Undergraduate Program

Emporia State is exploring the addition of a new undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Applied Linguistics.  The BA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics will provide students with a solid foundation in understanding language and how language can be used to solve real-world problems. This degree will allow students to pursue a career in a variety of settings, including working:

  • with people from other countries who speak other languages
  • within a global company or organization
  • with or teaching multilingual and multicultural students in the United States or overseas
  • as a content expert with the potential to work for industries using speech recognition software and human computer interaction,
  • in publishing

Please take a moment to give us feedback on this possible new undergraduate program at Emporia State University by completing our survey by Monday, September 9, 2019.
