The 2019 National Day on Writing (NDOW) is coming up in just over ONE WEEK: Friday October 18.
Join the Composition Program in English, Modern Languages, and Journalism from 9am-3pm in the Union Square (the space between Plumb Hall and the Memorial Union).
Events include:
- Writing thank you notes to current professors and past K12 teachers
- Participating in writing-themed prompts and Q&A
- Taking a selfie at our NDOW selfie station
RAFFLE with PRIZES!
- Students who post to social media (Instagram or Twitter) at the selfie station using the official National Day on Writing hashtag #WhyIWrite and tagging @emlj_esu will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.
- Prizes include *signed* copies of books from local Emporia authors AND Pop-Choc from the Sweet Granada!
